In Philippians 3:10 Paul declares <<that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death>>

Christ has suffered once on His way to The Cross of Calvary. But Sadly, through bad actions of some Christians, His Word says in Hebrew 6:6 He is still being crucified again and again: <<if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.>>
As members of the body of Christ, being aware of the daily/on-going sufferings of Our dear Lord Jesus Christ, we ought to commit this to prayer and help by the Holy Spirit whom we have to invite in us (surely after cleansing our heart for Him to move freely & Divinely) to help us pray effectively to defend Him better than Simon Peter, who having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest servant, and cut off his right ear.
Help from The Holy Spirit:
Romans 8:26 <<Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession [a]for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.>>
1 Corinthians 14:2 <<For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.>>

2 Timothy 3 Perilous Times and Perilous Men

<<3 But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!>>
