There is no other better New Life than in Christ Jesus;
We know thatB whoever is born of God does not sin;
but he who has been born of GodB keeps[a]B [b]himself,
and the wicked one does not touch him.(1 John 5:18).
Having accepted Jesus Christ as Our Savior and Lord, we are called to walk in Newness of life unto His example so that we may be hidden in Him (Ephesians 2;6) and not allow the enemy to touch usB (1 John 5:18).

Colossians 3: Not Carnality but Christ

3B If then you wereB raised with Christ, seek those things which are above,B where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.B 2B Set your mind on things above, not on things on theB earth.B 3B For you died,B and your life is hidden with Christ in God.B 4B When ChristB who isB our life appears, then you also will appear with Him inB glory.

5B Therefore put to deathB your members which are on the earth:B fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness,B which is idolatry.B 6B Because of these things the wrath of God is coming uponB the sons of disobedience,B 7B in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
8B But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.B 9B Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,B 10B and have put on the newB manB whoB is renewed in knowledgeB according to the image of Him whoB created him,B 11B where there is neitherB Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slaveB norB free,B but ChristB isB all and in all.

Character of the New Man

12B Therefore,B asB theB elect of God, holy and beloved,B put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;B 13B bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you alsoB must do.B 14B But above all these thingsB put on love, which is theB bond of perfection.B 15B And letB the peace of God rule in your hearts,B to which also you were calledB in one body; andB be thankful.B 16B Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one anotherB in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.B 17B AndB whatever you do in word or deed,B doB all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

The Christian Home

18B Wives, submit to your own husbands,B as is fitting in the Lord.
19B Husbands, love your wives and do not beB bitter toward them.
20B Children, obey your parentsB in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21B Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
22B Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.B 23B And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,B 24B knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance;B for[a]B you serve the Lord Christ.B 25B But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, andB there is no partiality.>>
